I think I did ok, considering

Well Friday was Turtle's birthday. I ate 1 small slice of ice cream cake. First treat in a month. Later that evening we went to our friends bar for his free "birthday mug". I did my research before hand and found that Micholob Ultra only has 2.5 carbs so I drank a few of those (3 or 4...I was a little "buzzed" so I can't recall). Someone bought us a few jager bomb shots which I used sf redbull. Turtle ordered boneless wings and broccoli bites (deep fried breaded chese, broccoli and bacon....delicious). I had a few boneless wings, 3 broccoli bites and ate his carrots and celery with ranch dressing. While this wasn't fantastic it was much better than what I would have eaten had I not been really putting in an effort to lose weight (I would've ate far more broccoli bites, french fries and probably pizza or a club sandwich).

Saturday we had a birthday party which was an all day picnic. I ate tons of veggies and dip (way too much dip), a few chips, a burger with cheese, no bun, 2 of those ultra beers, some crystal lite and 3 jaw breakers (from the goodie bag). While this wasn't great, it wasn't horrible for me. I normally would've eaten the burger with the bun, tons of chips and drank regular beer and had a huge piece of cake.

Sunday was not so great either, but again not bad. I had chicken and potato wedges and the restaurant we went to didn't have anything besides regular soda or diet soda (no pepsi max, unsweetened iced tea, coke zero etc)so I did get a regular soda but had tons of ice in the cup and didn't get a refill. I didn't finish my potato wedges. Normally I would've cleaned my plate and then probably ordered more (appetizer maybe). That was lunch (I only had a Caramel pecan ws bar for breakfast). Dinner was lobster tail and shrimp salad (at home). After the kids went to bed Turtle was still hungry and went to McDonalds for a few double burgers. I had 1 burger (1, not a double just one of his), no roll and a few (maybe 1/3) of his small fry. Normally I would've had a 1/4 pounder on a bun with a medium fry or even a large and a soda.

I hopped on the scale this morning and I was only 190.8 (friday morning I was 190.4). Now if I had followed plan I would've probabably been down a few, but I realize that I need to learn to eat off plan so I'm not stressing it. I fully understand that I could possibly still gain more in the next days and this will give me less of a loss on Friday, but I believe in order to stay on track and do this occasionaly I need to stray but I need to prevent myself from resorting to old habits.

Today is back on plan 100% and I will stay on plan until probably Sunday, which is my daughters 11th birthday. I will most likely only stray by replacing a my bar with a piece of birthday cake.
