Stupid Water Retention....I hope!

So I was amazingly on ball this weekend. I started Wii fit Saturday (yoga, I plan to alternate between yoga and strength training so I don't get so bored). We went to the mall Saturday evening. Everyone was starving and it was dinner time so we popped into an Arby's. I really wanted popcorn chicken and loaded potato bites, but I opted for a salad instead. Sunday We had a birthday party. I didn't really know the people since it was a friend of my daughter's party so I didn't feel comfortable bringing a turkey burger etc so I ate before we left and ate when we got home and politely declined food. EVEN BIRTHDAY CAKE. Oddly enough I didn't really want the cake.

Now this morning I stepped on the scale and I was up 2.2lbs from Sat and Sun. mornings weight. I am hoping that I didn't drink enough water and am retaining water. I did drink 2 liters and 2 glasses, but it's been hot. Super hot. I guess I'll have to wait and see if the weight comes off or start re-examining things. Like maybe I need more calories because of exercise ( I don't feel like I exercise enough for that to be it though) or maybe those darn sugarfree low carb cupcakes did me in. (the cupcakes say 23 carbs but you are to subtract the sugar alcohol to make it 13 carbs). While I counted them as 13 carbs but maybe there is other stuff in them that isn't good for what I've been doing. I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens. Wait and see if drinking water helps and pay close attention to if this happens again after I eat the cupcakes.
